On 30 June 2026, the HEAL team had the opportunity to engage with employees and senior leaders at the @cognizant Kolkata office.
During the session, HEAL Co-founder and Secretary @suvrajyotichatterjee and Project Coordinator @_v.a.s.u.d.h.a_ shared insights from our work on snakebite awareness and mitigation, human-elephant conflict management, and other conservation initiatives.

A screening of Catapults to Cameras, directed by wildlife filmmaker and HEAL Trustee @ashwika_kapur, was also held. Ashwika introduced the film, which inspired the ongoing Catapults to Cameras programme that engages children from hunting communities in southern West Bengal in conservation through photography and storytelling.

For many in the audience, including senior leaders and outreach professionals, this was their first exposure to these conservation challenges and the realities faced by communities living alongside wildlife.

The film and discussions deeply resonated with participants, sparking thoughtful conversations and a deeper appreciation of community-led conservation efforts.
Heartfelt thanks to Shubham Sengupta, a HEAL member and employee at Cognizant, for creating this opportunity to connect new audiences with conservation and HEAL’s mission.
