A BIG day for the kids at the heart of Project Catapults to Cameras! ❤️

On 30 August 2026, their film was screened to a packed audience at Nandan Cinema in Kolkata, Eastern India’s most prestigious theatre as part of Bengal Youth Film Festival. It was a moment to celebrate the kids and the incredible work they are now doing for Bengal’s wildlife.

Catapults to Cameras is HEAL’s flagship initiative, helping children from hunting communities become Wildlife Champions!

#GenAlpha is now breaking the cycle of illegal hunting, and helping their communities see wildlife through a whole new lens.

The day became even more special when the kids got to meet and talk about their work to none other than Bengal’s beloved superstar, Mr Prosenjit Chatterjee, and share their journey with him. His warmth, encouragement and time meant a great deal to the children.

And to top it all off, they were felicitated by Dr. Rajib Seal on stage in recognition of the work they are doing as young nature champions! Thank you @rajibkumarseal for championing our project!
